Dave Cormier says he has the organizational skills of a small rodent. So, when he was teaching 275 students at a community college in the year 2000, he started searching for a better way to distribute and collect information. Eventually he went on to coin the term “MOOC.”
Last year, the Knowledge Keepers of Mi’kma’ki and Cape Breton University worked together to offer a course about Indigenous Mi’kmaq history, culture and knowledge – designed and delivered by the Knowledge Keepers themselves.
